2008 Clemson University Advanced Placement Summer Institute

Clemson University, in cooperation with the Eugene T. Moore School of Education, is offering courses for Advanced Placement endorsement this summer. This summer, Clemson University is offering the following 11 courses: Biology, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics, United States History, World History, European History, Psychology, English Literature, Human Geography, and Government. All of our courses are endorsed by College Board and provide three-hour graduate-level courses designed to prepare teachers to strengthen their understanding of the AP program, the pedagogy and assessment process, as well as enhance content mastery.

Registration

Participants should complete the 2008 Registration application and return it to Julie McGaha, Director AP Summer Institutes, 418A Tillman Hall Clemson, SC, 29634. There is a $100 registration fee if paid prior to May 1, 2008. The late registration fee of $150 will apply to registrations received after May 1, 2008. No registration will be accepted after May 15, 2008. Please make all checks payable to Clemson University. No debit / credit card payment is accepted.

Graduate School

In order to receive a grade, all participants must be enrolled in the graduate school. You will need to apply to the graduate school if you meet one of the following criteria:

You will need to complete a re-entrance form and return it to Clemson University with your registration application if it has been less than 6 years since you took a graduate class from Clemson University.
