Mission

The mission of the Center for Collaborative Research and Creative Activities is to facilitate and support the development of interdisciplinary projects (research, education, and outreach).

Center Goals

The Center has identified four (4) goals that are aligned with HEHD Collaborative areas and Clemson University goals and emphasis areas. These goals serve as a guide for the Center’s strategic planning, and annual assessment:

1. Provide support for collaborative, interdisciplinary research, education, and outreach projects.

2. Increase the visibility and recognition for faculty research, education, and outreach projects.

3. Facilitate the assessment and information related to the five (5) college collaborative areas:

1) Disparities in Health and Education

2) Family and Youth Development

3) Gerontology “Aging in Place”

4) Innovations in Education

5) Tourism and Community Development

4. Provide graduate and undergraduate students with research related learning experiences.
