Kathleen Meyer is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Public Health Sciences. Her primary interest areas are school health education and digital portfolio development.

Prior to joining the department, she served as a Health Promotion Manager for SC DHEC (Department of Health and Environmental Control) . Mrs. Meyer has also taught middle and high school health education and has served as an adjunct instructor in the Health Science Department at the State University College at Cortland, Cortland, NY.

Mrs. Meyer has collaborated with Clemson University's Michelin Career Center and the Office of Student Affairs on two grants. She also serves on several college committees and is co-sponsor for Eta Sigma Gamma.

In 2002, she was the recipient of the American Association for Health Education (AAHE) award for "Best Health Education Photo Presentation." She has also been recognized at the Department and College level for her teaching and academic advising with a 2005 HEHD Award of Excellence.
