Dr. Gerald E. Costello joined the Department
of Public Health Sciences in July 2000. A native of Pennsylvania, Dr.
Costello served as Administrator of the Department of Surgery, College
of Medicine, at the University of South Florida from 1986 until his move
to Clemson. Prior to that position, he was Director of Corporate Education
for the Orlando Regional Medical Center, a 1035 bed teaching hospital,
located in Orlando, Florida. From 1972 until 1983 he was a member of the
Public Health faculty at USC, departing as an Associate Professor and
Director of the Graduate Program in Public Health Education ('80-'83).
