The Office of Distance Education (ODE) in Clemson University's College of Health, Education, and Human Development (HEHD) offers off-campus programs with an eye towards convenience and flexibility.
Non-traditional students have access to Clemson University degree programs to meet career advancement needs -- even students who do not live in or attend school in Clemson, South Carolina.
School Districts can also contract with Clemson University to offer professional development courses that meet recertification requirements for their teachers.
The degree and recertification programs are delivered in traditional face-to-face off-campus classrooms or through a variety of asynchronous and synchronous distance education technologies.
