Undergraduate Academics

Within the Eugene T. Moore School of Education
the undergraduate programs in Teacher Education prepare students to be
quality certified P-12 teachers. Teacher Education students understand
both the theory and the practice of solid pedagogy as well as their academic
content. They are engaged in meaningful activities through Creative
Inquiry, service learning, and professional organizations. While
they learn inside the university classrooms, very importantly they also
learn in PK-12 classrooms by working with and observing young learners
and experienced teachers. Through all their experiences, our students
become caring, capable and connected teachers.
