Office of Field Experiences
Over the years the Office
of Field Experiences has coordinated thousands of student placements
in the upstate area. We
are proud of the strong partnerships we have made with district officials,
principals and teachers. We would like to thank all the school administrators,
classroom teachers and university supervisors who have helped us over
the years to mentor and train our teacher education candidates.
We, in the Field Experiences Office, work hard to find
field placements for your practicum experiences in area schools and child
care centers. These experiences will give you real world experiences
to prepare you for your career in teaching. Please take each placement
seriously. For your field experience, we ask you to provide us with
your schedule so we can make the placement according to the best available
times for you and for the schools. Please ensure that you make
us aware of any special needs, such as a lack of personal transportation,
so we can take these needs into consideration when we coordinate your
placement. Field placements are required for
the courses listed on the left navigation bar. Information
pertinent to your field placements is also listed on the navigation
bar.
