HLTH 419 - HEALTH SCIENCE INTERNSHIP

Preparation for internship experience including topics such as resume development, interview skills, internship agency selection, and responsibilities of student, department, and agency.

Prerequisite: Junior standing in Health Science.

HLTH 420 - HEALTH SCIENCE INTERNSHIP

Under supervision in an approved agency, students have an opportunity for on-the-job experiences. Students are placed in an agency and develop personal/professional goals and objectives appropriate to the setting, population, and health issues. Students create a comprehensive exit portfolio in a digital format. May be repeated for a maximum of six credits.

Prerequisite: HLTH 419, minimum GPR of 2.0, Junior standing in Health Science.
