Current Locations
The College of HEHD is primarily located in three different buildings:
- Tillman Hall (constructed in 1894, renovated in 1981) houses the Eugene
T. Moore School of Education. Programmatic areas of the School
of Education are also housed in Holtzendorf Hall and some classes
are held in Godfrey and Freeman Hall.
- Lehotsky Hall (constructed in 1975 and renovated in 1988) houses
the Department
of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. The
Outdoor Laboratory is located off the main campus on beautiful
Lake Hartwell.
- Edwards Hall (constructed in 1977) houses the Administrative offices,
Business Office, Department
of Public Health Sciences, School
of Nursing, Joseph
F. Sullivan Center, Office
of Distance Education, as well as the HEHD Academic
Advising Center and Computer
Support Center.
- The National
Dropout Prevention Center is located on the perimeter of the
main campus at 209 Martin Street.
- The
University Center located in Greenville, South Carolina is
home to HEHD off-campus distance education programs. The School
of Nursing and the Eugene T. Moore School of Education offer Graduate
courses via the Center; the School of Nursing offers advanced-study
degrees through the Center as well.
