Faculty
Dr. Philip McGee - Program Coordinator
For seventeen years, Dr. McGee was involved in the design and
implementation
of instructional and organizational systems within education,
government,
industry and business through his company, Instructional
Designs, Inc.
In
addition to the work he performed through Instructional Designs,
Inc., he also served as the Doctor of Business Administration Regional
Program
Director for the School of Business
and Entrepreneurship, Nova Southeastern University and as an Adjunct
Professor
of HRD for Webster University. Dr. McGee also pioneered the use of the
Internet for training through his website, Free-Training.com, that
provides free safety training to over two million users a month
worldwide.Dr. Stephen Bronack - Associate Professor
Specializing in the application of social learning technologies such as
3-D virtual worlds and web-based applications, Dr. Bronack is a leading
expert
in the use of innovative instructional strategies and emerging media to
make education a more pragmatic and relevant process for both learners
and those who facilitate them. Dr. Bronack believes the greatest
opportunities
learning technologies present us today are the abilities: (1) to create
communities of learners around important problems in ways previously
unavailable, and (2) to allow members of those communities to build
mutually-beneficial relationships through shared interest, tools,
experience, and expertise. Dr. Bronack is a co-developer of AET Zone, a 3-D synthetic
world for learning. AET Zone was designed to significantly
enhance students'
experiences within our program by providing a venue for cohorts to
collaborate, to communicate, to connect, and to learn with and from one
another. AET Zone has been recognized as an award-winning
innovation and a model for the future of distance education.Adjunct Faculty
Being an online program, we are not limited to faculty who live near
Clemson University. For this reason, we have assembled a national
faculty of distinguished practitioner-scholars. Each is considered a
leader in the HRD field, with many years of experience. This experience
brings
an added dimension to the program, insuring that students not only
learn
the theory and concepts related to HRD, but how that knowledge is most
effectively applied in the workplace.
